Zagara Di Calabria Cocktail List


It has been love at first sip between Zagara di Calabria and me. This amazing liqueur is the perfect representation of the Territory of Alto Jonio. All the Piana di Sibari area is plenty of citrus fields and during the Spring time the parfume of Zagara surrounds over it all.


Using the orange blossoms "Zagara" and other spices, Zagara di Calabria is a liqueur made by Nobili di Calabria, an old handicraft liquor factory. Without any use of chemical extracts, this liqueur is the best results of an old recipe. Only passion and experience from the Liquor Master Cav. Russo.





Shaken Zagara


65ml Zagara di Calabria Liqueur
few drops of Orange Blossom Water


Shake well and double strain in a chilled martini coupette


Squeze essential oils from an orange peel and left as garnish.


                                                                    Zagara Sour



6oml Zagara di Calabria Liqueur
25ml Fresh Lemon Juice
0,5 ml Sugar Syrup
2 drops of Piana di Sibari Citrus Blend Bitter (use Angostura)
Egg White optional

Dry shake if egg white is used, then shake with ice cubes.
Strain in a cocktail coupette, Squeeze the essential oils form a orange zest, then discard and garnish with citurs powder.

Can be served on the rocks as well.






Zagara Spritz


60ml Zagara di Calabria
Splash of Soda Water
Top it up with Prosecco

Build in the glass over ice cubes.
Garnish with Orange Wedge and serve with straw if requested.


                                                                      Zagaroni



20ml Zagara di Calabria Liqueur
20ml Amaro Calabrisella
25ml Sweet Vermouth
25ml London Dry Gin
2 Drops Orange Bitter

Build in the glass or stirred in a mixing glass and then served on the rocks with ice cubes or big chunk of ice.
Squezed orange zest as garnish



Zagara Frappé

Large portion of Zagara di Calabria Liqueur
Fresh Orange Juice

Mix it and serve with crushed ice.

Garnish with grated orange zest.




                                                                        Spring Pot



25ml Zagara di Calabria Liqueur
10 Amaro Calabrisella
40ml Jamaican Rum
15ml Kumquait and Cinnamon Cordial
3 Citrus Blend (fresh juices of Oranges, Grapefruit and Lime)

Shake all the ingredients and strain in a fancy long drink glass or highball with ice cubes.

Garnish with piece of caramelized kumquait and serve with straw
